Three Recruiting Strategies You Can Apply Today!

One of the biggest obstacles to overcome while building my home based business was how to recruit new people. Sure, I spoke to my family, restaurant waiters, and my broke friends who told me that these MLM pyramid scams never work. I even tried the whole 3 foot rule thing to no avail. Then, just as my frustration level reached its breaking point, So I'd like to help you avoid the agony, and give you three recruiting strategies you can apply today!
Ok, strategy number one! Prospect the people you know and do business with now. The whole prospecting with success thing depends on you not pitching your business the first time you contact someone. The idea is to build a relationship with the person you intend to present your primary opportunity to. So now think....who are some of the people you already have a relationship and credibility with? No, not your family and friends! How about independent business owners in your community? These are the folks you see on a regular basis and, have a rapport with. I'm talking about your dry cleaner, the guy who owns the coffee shop you go to, your accountant, or even the local pizza shop owner. The great thing about them is that they are already business minded people, and are usually open to other ways to generate income.
Number two! Write an article about how to succeed in network marketing. Believe it or not, you have enough experience to write articles that give valuable advice on how to have success in direct sales. Whether you're writing for your local newspaper or posting on your own website or blog, this is a fantastic way to drive traffic to you. Running an article marketing campaign is also great because it's low or no cost at all. There are plenty of free article submission sites that will accept your work if follow their guidelines. Don't forget to put a strong call to action in the author bio section.
Now strategy number three! Start a blog. You can do this easily by getting a domain name and a service to host it. I personally use WordPress because of its user friendly features. Add a web sign up form on it and boom...you're in business. AWeber email marketing service has a great staff that is ready to assist you in setting up your web form and autoresponder newsletter system. All you need to do after that is to add consistent, useful and valuable content that your subscribers will find helpful. Now one thing about blogging for prospecting and recruiting, it's not an overnight instant success formula. The magic number seems to be around 100 posts or articles on your site. Once you hit that, the search engines seem to feel more comfortable sending you traffic.
Start using these today, and you'll see the results begin to stack up. To your success!
